A Community-Driven Investment in Cricket

We’re so excited to support Martham Cricket Club with a grant to refurbish their cricket nets. This project isn’t just about improving the club’s facilities—it’s about bringing the whole community together through cricket.

Grant awarded to MarthamCricket Club

Inspiring Local Schools:

Martham Cricket Club does an amazing job working with local schools, introducing young people to the joys of cricket. With the new and improved nets, they’ll be able to host even more fun and engaging sessions, helping kids discover a love for the game and stay active.

Making Cricket for Everyone:

One of the best things about cricket is how it brings people together. Martham Cricket Club is open to everyone, and the upgraded nets mean players of all ages and abilities will have a fantastic, safe space to train and enjoy the sport.

Building Connections in the Community:

The club is at the heart of so many great local events, from charity matches to open days. With better facilities, they’ll be able to do even more to bring people together and create lasting memories.

Teaching Life Skills:

Cricket isn’t just about the game—it’s about learning teamwork, discipline, and resilience. By supporting this project, we’re helping Martham Cricket Club give people the chance to pick up these valuable skills while having a great time on the pitch.

Stay up to date

At GYSLT, we’re passionate about projects like this that make a real difference in our community. We can’t wait to see how the improved nets help Martham Cricket Club grow and how they bring even more people together to enjoy cricket.
